Creative leadership has been a throughline in my work, both in leading teams and in building the tools that support them. Over more than 20 years in feature-film animation I've earned credits on a range of major releases while developing a mix of artistic and technical skills. At Blue Sky Studios, I worked in the Materials Department alongside engineering and R&D to support look development and refine the transmittance model in Studio++. That experience deepened my curiosity about the systems artists rely on and how small technical changes can open up new creative possibilities. Over time, I began building custom tools and workflows designed to remove friction and give artists more control over their process. Founding a company gave me space to explore those ideas further. I designed and tested all workflows myself, using real production needs and years of artist experience to guide every decision. What has stayed with me most is how much leadership lives in the quiet work. Listening well. Clearing the path. Protecting the space where good ideas take shape. That shift from artist to builder to product thinker is what continues to shape how I lead and how I solve creative problems.
